Winter is easily my toughest season. But the past few years, I have improved in my ability to exert control over the things that I CAN control, and let the rest go. So, choosing a cold winter day to surprise Avery for a lunch date at school, taking the family to the closed Blue Ridge Parkway for a cold hike, or adding a new colonial wig to the teaching wardrobe - can be just the things I need to push into Spring.
And Spring is quite close now!
I guess what i'm trying to say is that i'm grateful for getting older, and still learning new tricks.
