As we wrap up our first full school year post-pandemic, I am really proud of both of the kids. They really persevered, and though (like most kids) we dealt heavily with the effects of pandemic life the previous year - we made it out better than we started.
More so than most years of his school life, Noah learned resilience and courage this year. He worked so hard for Student Government (which he LOVES), Honor Roll, our school musical (Anastasia!), his artwork, and how to drive a car. Most importantly, I taught him in AP World History this whole year and it has been one of the greatest joys of my life. We basically taught the class together at times. He has a big summer ahead which includes a driver's license and SCAD.
Avery made it through his first year of Middle School with his heart of gold in tact. He tried some new things this year (basketball, new crew, track) and learned so much about himself. And we are proud of his hard work in soccer, AIG, News Crew, Honor Roll, and the Track team.
We are all ready for a break and a great summer.
