Soccer is awesome. But the best part of Avery's soccer season every year, is the February tournament in Charleston. Leaving the cold mountains in the winter, and heading to beautiful Charleston is an ailment for most things. But to add some soccer, and hotel time with his buddies - is fantastic. Sadly, Noah and Jessica were not able to join us this year, as they had other obligations. But Avery and I made the best of it, and he played great!
Our early morning sunrise drives over the Wando River, on the way to to the soccer field were magical moments for us. I will not soon forget it.
