2020 Mixtape

My 2020 Mixtape is done and dusted. Once again, my teenage boy Noah played a large role in introducing me to much of the music featured here, so big shout out to him...

Though these individual songs made up much of the 2020 soundtrack for me, my album of the year was Pinegrove's Marigold. I have been spinning that bright yellow vinyl record so much in the house that Avery now complains if I so much as look at it. It is fantastic though, and provided so much joy during a year of new madness.

My cover was inspired by my love of both soccer and records - a sentiment expertly captured in this photo of the great Argentine player Diego Maradona, who passed away recently.

Per usual, to keep kicking it old school when needed - I made a handful of hard copy CDs of this mix, but it is easiest to find the mix here, through Spotify.
