All the feels these past two weeks as Noah is wrapping up high school. It seems like everything he does marks the last time he will do it and it has made for bittersweet emotions, of course. But, it is mostly great, as he attended his senior prom with his good friends and ran lights and art for the school musical (Into the Woods).
High school can be tough, and Noah (like all kids his age) started out his freshman year in the pandemic - which made it so much tougher. But inch by inch and month by month he plugged in to high school life (student council, Governor's School, AP trips, Denmark exchange, the theater, art), made great friends, and received a great education with some really incredible teachers. He truly has "grown up" in this high school and has become a stronger, inspiring, and more resilient person because of it.
But he's ready to go. Hell, he's been ready to go since he was 11 years old and now is the time. Honestly, I'm glad he's wrapping up this high school experience, but I have loved the ride with him.
