The kids are busting out their creative juices as well. Avery is becomeing increasingly more mobile each hour. He spins around on his belly, scoots backwards, and sort of bounces forward on his knees. He is really happy about it too, and is rebelling against any seating option that include straps. He mostly employs the "stiff back arch flex" (SBAF) move to avoid any seats of this nature. I applaud his choice, as the SBAF move has an impressive track record, dating back to late Neolithic period. From time to time, he accompanies the SBAF move with a Highlander-style scream - in order to better express his feelings in the matter. He is also getting into light sabers. Noah is just funny. He was just messing around on Saturday, and he invited all of us into the kitchen, where he had grabbed various pots and pans and made his" drumset." (see pic) he rocked out Jingle Bells for us.
But the coolest thing is this: Noah and Avery are playing together now. It is amazing and beautiful. They both are just totally in love with each other. When they get home they are happy to see each other the most, and they giggle. Noah is really into physical horseplay these days, and he has taken to "wrestling" Avery to the ground. At first it scared us, until we realized that Avery loves it! He just laughs and laughs, and Noah treats him so delicately. Jessica and I are crazy excited about it. Oh, and have you heard The Pains of Being Pure at Heart? You have to listen to this.
