Jessica and I hold a belief that when married couples have children, it becomes especially important for them to make time for each other - ya know, date nights and such. But we also believe that you need some girl time, and some guy time. These times can help provide balance to relationships, and can avoid stagnation by invigorating us as individuals. We also believe in creating individual time for reflection and general recharging. Basically, it is important to be intentional about relationships.
In that effort, some of my fellas and I look for opportunities to periodically spend some guy time. This usually means snowboarding and/or football. Last week, it was football at the University of Tennessee. We spent the day enjoying the college atmosphere of Knoxville, TN - and had a grand time.
I returned home recharged, and missing the family.
Guy Time success.
