So, for this Mother's Day weekend - we went on our first roadtrip, as the fab four. We travelled to Charlotte to see Jessica's family. We are home now, and, upon reflection, it went really well. Avery and Noah travelled well, both sleeping in the car at times, providing Jessica and I valuable opportunities to talk about everything with each other - which is one of our favorite things to do.
We spent time with the fam, but were able to get out and go on an adventure - which is what we like to do. We all rode the light-rail into town, walked to Discovery Place (which Noah knows like the back of his hand nowadays), played with everything, Noah picked up his first starfish, fed Avery, changed Avery, ran down the street, got back on the train, got off a few stops up and walked to Phat Burrito (this place is AMAZING! They were rocking out to some serious funk music ,and it alone makes me think that Charlotte might be okay) and got our grub on, Noah talked to some guys wearing superhero shirts, and we came home.
All of us boys hooked Jessica up with some Doc Chey's, musical cards, and presents (including a button that plays "Whoomp - there it is" at any moment of need - and now we are off to bed. Goodnight.
