The Holidays were fun and crazy. Jessica got me the coolest coffee mug in the world, and various other thoughtful gifts. I think she is sweet on me :). We went to church on Christmas eve and watched the boys dress as angels. They actually got to choose between an Angel, Wise Man, or Shepard - but our boys always gravitate towards the feminine side of life - and they went with the angel. It was beautiful for sure.5Noah and Avery woke up at home to a White Christmas, and Santa
had delivered everything they wanted. They made art, played the toy piano, and ate Sausage and egg casserole. We beat the brunt of the snow storm out of the mountains, and headed to Winston Salem - where we got to play in the snow with our extended family. Two days of snowball fights, sledding, pillow forts, and chicken wings. Happiness abounded. Aunt Mel Mel even stayed the night at my parents, which was great. After another stint in Charlotte (where the boys got to ride the "Choo Choo" to Discovery Place. They were elated.) that included a couple of bouts with sickness, we came home and played
some more.
Kids make Christmas have so much meaning.
